The Rangers become concerned by the extent of the Sanzu River when water from the River begins to seep into our world - meanwhile, Arachnitor resurfaces and uses the River's water to prevent himself from drying out. Also, it is the first neo-Saban era incarnation of Power Rangers that serves as a new-titled continuation of a previous series - this new tradition of a "super mode"-themed continuation of a series is continued starting from Super Megaforce onwards after Megaforce. It is the 20-episode second season and continuation of Power Rangers Samurai.
It began airing on Februon Nickelodeon and completes its initial airing later in the year on December 15. Power Rangers Super Samurai is an American television series created by Haim Saban and Toei Company and the nineteenth season of the Power Rangers franchise.
